Soul of Freedom

I'm tied in chains,
to a broken wall,
I would like to grow feathers and fly,
But they say it's dangerous for you,
they keep me safe and close,
They tie me to the bedroom's door,
I claim my right to go and run,
But that worries me too,
I hear footsteps,
I yell,
help ! help !,
Someone is on to me,
The shadows would scare me away,
I won't dare devils, I would rather stay,
Safe and close as they say,
Until my dreams and wishes,
would fade away,
I would no longer own a soul of freedom,
I would only own a body of stone.
