Soul Flame

I had a dream last-night
Well more like a vision
In a temple I awoke and
A guardian monk to me
He spoke.

We have been waiting for
You. He said to me yes
in my vision my eyes were
Open but I was half asleep.

The monk handed me a candle with
A flame a small but bright flame, a flickering
Flame bright it shown before my eyes this was
The vision I was shown.

I asked the monk what the candle was for and he
Said everyone we meet has a candle with a flame
Even those people whom we haven’t met have a flame.

For you see the flame represents the fire of your soul
And it is the responsibility of the individual to make sure
Their flame stays lit and never goes out.

But I said every flame goes out eventually right? Then
The monk said that’s true but the flame you hold is no
Ordinary flame this is the flame of your soul.

Anything that affects you mentally or emotionally
Also affects the flame. So be sure to always feed your
Soul flame the right thoughts, emotions, actions and mindsets.

You will know when you are out of alignment when the soul
Flame starts to flicker. But the more you are in sync with whom
you truly are the more brighter the flame will shine. For this is your
soul flame and only YOU have to ability to keep it alive.
