Soul
Within these walls
energy wild and imprisoned;
originality
suppressed by walls of flesh and bone.
Clarity in a mortal box;
it’s only outlet
dreams and imagination,
pouring through the physical;
it escapes…
Electrical connection.
Recharged by the mother and father;
eternally wise and locked within.
No bars to squeeze through,
it escapes only through channels;
limbed and quite briefly.
Builds worlds, connects with life,
maintains its’ own.
A miracle worker;
creating miracles which are often unrecognized
and too soon forgotten.
“Ye are Gods”.
Says the book, but mortals never
Realize the god within.
Utopia is within all of us.
The miracle to top them all
just wants to be set free.
