Soul

Poetry holds my soul, yet my soul holds poetry.
Words dissect my feelings, and my feelings dissect their meanings.
Don't be so quick to say that sorrow is running your way.
Sorrow is only a word, a word with a meaning attached.
Words dissect my feelings, and my feelings dissect their meanings.
Poetry is scattered words, letters thrown together.
Emotion is the key, poetry is a part of me...

I am one with myself, at peace within.
Throwing away the mind, throwing away the sin.
Harm and wrong doing, hatred and shame.
All a part of me, of you, we're the same.
Hope and love, peace and care.
Truth is, we all breathe the same air.

Poetry holds my soul, yet my soul holds poetry.
Words dissect my feelings, and my feelings dissect their meanings.
Emotion is the key.
To believe in anything, I must first believe in me...
