Sought Spiritual Enlightenment I Did

Sought Spiritual Enlightenment I Did!

Sought spiritual enlightenment I did
Looked for some kind of self-actualization
Read a whole lot of sacred texts
which taught me of creators, and adversaries gods, and goddesses
stories of heroes, and heroines,
religious leaders professing their faith to both righteous and wicked alike
all having good versus evil as their themes
answers to life's purpose, and meaning
learned of preexistentes and afterlifes
Found out about detachment
Living one with nature and harmoniously with everyone else
set of rules to live life by
and so much more
however, at the time I was an anarchist
and I didn't want to adhere or even hear about rules about how I should live my life
Which turned me away from every sacred text that had rules in it
In which, I never prayed
executed, or experimented by having faith in any of these sacred texts and seeing what happened
eventually, I found logic, reason, and rationality, and certain sciences as well
even found a few philosophies to adhere to as well!
