Sorry Jesus It’s just us

As we drive into church, we turn off the engine, no need to rush It’s only us, sorry Jesus we are coming empty handed..

We begin to walk to the church door as we see others with their friends, I’m sorry Jesus as it’s just us…

We enter your house everyone is gathering as one, the church is empty we are early to arrive, we take our seat in the pew, I’m sorry Jesus it’s just us.

As we stand to come before your altar, our special needs daughter she stays behind, I’m sorry Jesus it’s just us…

We’re not like others who bring others to your altar, will you still accept us as we are?

I’m sorry Jesus we couldn’t be a better disciple, it’s only us now leaving alone..

I’ll leave the “bringing lost ones to your church” to the HOLY ONE.”

Hello Jennifer, this is very touching and heartfelt. With such a heaviness in your chest, church was the best place to leave your woes. Sending blessings your way my friend.
