Sorry I Love You Continued

I didn’t know it wasn’t my job to console you It wasn’t my job to care if you had potatoes with ya steak It wasn’t my job to make sure you were awake You was sleeping on your job as the “love of Your own life” How could I have possibly said yes to being your wife Not knowing this situation wasn’t right I guess the rings were just that nice They blinded me of the reality You don’t even pray but claim to be the Baptist form of Christianity You tell other people what goes on behind closed doors You don’t even want to spend a day lounging just to explore My main focus is money cause I put that over any nigga You blocked my view I thought I was on the battle field for you Traditional bonnie to ya Clyde I will ride but never give you control if I live or die I’m waking up from this coma of whatever it is we are doing I hope that when the smoke clears you will be a/that man I should be pursuing I’m sorry I loved you I’m sorry you don’t love me U gonna be upset when I’m someone else’s luxury Cause sometimes you treated me like trash Never cursed at me And I love what you did to my ass Even loved my poetry But you didn’t respect me And I’m not talking about opening doors and pulling out seats I’m not talking about letting me cum first in between the sheets I’m talking about making me parallel to your identity Considering putting me first you did ask me to be wifey I always said I would be there But I lied cause this is the end And no like Deb Cox, we can’t be friends I got a wedding dress to sell Wish me well cause it’s time for me to move on Consider this poetic formed letter your Dear John Even though by the time you read this I won’t be gone Just know you can write the sequel to Jay’Z’s Lost ones!
