Sorry God
SORRY GOD
BY
STAN ALMENDRO
Sorry God that we behave so small
Easily from your grace and will fall
We should in childlike faith walk tall
But instead think we must have all
We say pray seek His face and ask
But this is make rich, win every task
Blame the devil for all our mistakes
And if right the glory we so easy take
Argue about things that do not matter
The things that childlike faith will splatter
Lives with wealth and shallowness clutter
All brings complaints as we easy mutter
So God you see how we live so shallow
Have no love or care for the other fellow
Help us to grow up, live for your GLORY
That the world will see it is not just a story
Oh God help us to be honest and real
To your Grace and mercy we do appeal
The Church is in a sick and sorry state
But to repent, say sorry, we all hesitate
