Sorry For You

Tears fill my eyes,
They flow down my cheeks
As your words scream out at me
Everything you say is a lie
And yet, they hit me hard,
I am not useless
I am not alone.
I don't need you,
I am not afraid.
So, why do I cry?
Because I feel sorry for you,
That you have nothing to cry about,
Nothing to be sad about
Nothing flowing
Not from one eye.
Not from the heart,
Not from the soul or the mind,
Nothing to do,
But to scream out my imperfections
To try to cover up that you are not human
You are not the same
You are in nothing- -
Nothing at all
But pain.
