Sorry, But You Are Not the One

I knew you were not the one
As soon as I saw your guns
Metaphorically of course
But by then our time was out of fun

So you can shoot me now
And we can both be done
Because I could never pursue your route
I am not the one for you

Playing games is best left for kids
Not for getting personal kicks
So its best to go our separate ways
And for me my wounds to lick

I think I knew you were not the one
But it took some
Waking up to reality
Not just for you
But for me
