Sorry

There is not enough sorry s
to tell the person
you took your frustration 
out on that day
they were the closest one
to vent out at the moment
there is no taking back
the words or emotions
you took out on that person
you may have hurt or
made that person anger
but it is to late
the damage is done
you both won't forget
you hope the person
can forgive you
and say we all
have our bad days
I am only human
and I make mistakes
just like everybody else
you should know 
to take your frustration
out in other ways
but all I can say to you
is I am so very sorry

Daniel Turner January 27, 2016 at 3:56 PM You ought to read my poem "Hollow Words" you might like it. I hear what you're saying. Sometimes it just doesn't feel like it's enough, and usually it's not. I like the feeling in the poem.
