Sorry

I did not mean to lead you astray
On a poem I wrote the other day,
Yes the incident did take place,
But I left out my mother's grace
Thinking I knew more than she
I'd do things the way I see.
I even wrote a good by note
I was going to leave home.
With her faith and patience I came round
I don't know now what was the cause,
I only know that I Thank God,
That she was there for me
And I opened my eyes in time to see
You will never be alone if you
Allow someone to be there
For you too.
