Sorry

Sorry really never change the hurt.  
You should have thought of me before you got to saying Sorry.  
What is done is done.  
We are where we are because the only person you thought about was you.  
It is what it is,  
we are where we are,  
what is done is done.

Sorry after the fact is just you acknowledging I was here.  
Sorry didn’t make the pain leave.  
Sorry is your realization that I was there.  
But what if I was not there? I wouldn’t know. You wouldn’t care.  
So you wouldn't be Sorry.  
It is what it is,  
we are where we are,  
what is done is done.

Sorry is because you got caught and it’s the right thing to say.  
Forgiveness is easy for a bleeding heart.  
Sorry never change the past.  
Sorry never fixed the wrong that was done to me.  
I don’t want to hear it.  
It is what it is,  
we are where we are,  
what is done is done.

I think what hurt the most is that my heart will not forget you  
and my mind hold on to the memories of you.  
Sorry don’t make it right.  
I already paid the price.  
Forgiveness is not for you, it’s for me, so I can sleep at nights.  
You know what? I am sorry too.
