Sorrowful Journey
All concrete jungles we create cannot soothe the soul.
The Foreboding structures of our prison brings in woe.
It surrounds us, enticing a lonely heart into sorrowful tears.
We wander around, lost in meaningless life over the years.
We try to distract ourselves from this lonely lament.
Clinging onto things, a lonely love, and connections, not sent.
Alone, we bathe in deep reflection of wondering who we are.
We capture the slight essence of a calling, calling from afar.
Dark terrors of night, prey on the innocent, drinking their fear.
Trembling, as hate echoes painful words with disdain and a sneer.
Oh, the horizon yields a blue light of hope and promise.
We are willing to follow the whispering call as it insists.
We walk an arduous path of trepidation and uncertainty.
Our heart now knows that we will be fine with wonders to see.
The twilight surrenders to the warm beautiful sun of life.
Gaia breathes into her whispering wind emanating life's light.
Gaia gathers life to herself as we feel love pulsating on the Earth.
It is given to us as we merrily embark on our ascension of birth.
