Sorrow You, Sorrow Not
The mirror shows the age of us passing day by day.
It can’t conceal the truth in us or the lies we try to store away.
Each day you’ll see a different you forming the composition of your life.
Each day they’ll be a darker hue looking back at you through your eyes.
Though age will bring its attack on your body and your mind.
It lets you know your wisdom true in the latter stages of your life.
Though age creates a different you to the youth you of before.
Your character will hold true while you can still walk through the door.
So the younger you is now a character in the history of your days.
But sorrow really will not do for the looks that can not stay.
Embrace each day as a life a new because you don’t know when the this of you will be made to go away.
