Sorrow Destroyed

Sorrow Was Destroyed The morning was sad The sky full of clouds Heart wept in sorrow My eyes cried out loud The wind blew so hard Sounded just like pain Leaves fell on sidewalk And drowned in the rain Tried hard to be strong To sing in the sun Voice was filled with grief To hide I must run Snifling child afraid With tears overflowed Sorrow I had not known Nor did I want to know I knelt in darkness Sun began to shine His touch on my face Like father of mine Heart that was heavy Now filled with much joy Danced in falling rain Sorrow was destroyed
