Sorrow
It cut’s deep slashes through the very core of your heart.
The pain continues to linger as hope and happiness fade and disappear.
You feel constant stream of tears as your heart slowly crumbles and dies like a dry old cookie under someone’s heavy shoe stomp,
Then as the night falls heavy on your conscience.
Your heart freezes over with apathy.
Clear, precise and ice cold.
Then the tears stop and you feel nothing else.
You continue to move through this world afraid to feel anything ever again.
