Sophie Again

A furry face that greets me in the morning
laying next to my face upon my flattened pillow

she snuggles closer upon my eyes cracking open to the day
while her tail switches back and forth like the wiper blades on our car

"take me for a walk NOW, Mom," her little furry body and grunts say to me
and as I stretch
so does she in her down dog position as we both roll off the bed and onto
our feet....

Aw, too sweet. I've had dogs all my life. Let's face it, they are joyful companions who simply live to love - unconditionally. Faithful till the end. A sweet way to start your day. Love, Shar
