Soon It'Ll Be Christmas

Christmas lights strung up bright
Twinkling "n" sparkling oh what a sight
Christams trees picked from lots
Placing an angel or a star on top
Mistletoe hung in just the right place
Placing smiles on each flushing face
Snow is falling to everyones delight
Christmas is coming but not tonight
Children have sent Santa all of their lists
Hoping he doesn't forget any wish
Nights will be long but you'll have to wait
Santa knows this is a special date
You may hear his sleigh upon the roof
Even the sound of his reindeers hoofs
But sleep for now morning is near
You'll know soon enough when your children cheer.
