Sonnet Xxvi: Soliloquy One

SONNET XXVI
SOLILOQUY ONE

Jesus, You’re the Lily of the Valley
Oh Jesus, You’re the Bright Morning Star,
Sweet Jesus, You’re the Mighty Man in Battle,
I call You Jesus, the Master of the World
I call You Jesus, You’re the Master of the World.

No One ever cares for me like Jesus,
There’s no other friend so true as He,
No One ever cares for me like Jesus,
There’s no other friend so true as He,
I call You Jesus, the Master of the World
I call You Jesus, You’re the Master of the World.

Halle-lu-u-yah, Halle-lu-u-yah,
I call You Jesus, the Master of the World
I call You Jesus, You’re the Master of the World.

Even at times when I seem quiet and not talking, my heart, my mind, my soul and body cannot but sing the praises of my God. He has been faithful, and gratitude has become so much part of me. What a Mighty God I serve.
