Sonnet to my love
My heart arises, my joyful soul declares
Exists no beauty but yours alone, apart
From you no flower blooms no crystal clear.
A simple truth, a joyful song of heart
To sway and dance that nature proclaims! I
Haven’t seen nor heard a song so lovely as you
In morning dew, in heavy rain, in blue sky
None exists as lovely as you
The heart shall lead the mind intends to know
All roses arise to give you praise, to seek
And consul a fruitless soul, escape the woe
That souls may feel away from you, no life may speak
Exist no beauty but you is true
In morning flowers in tulips so blue
