Sonnet of the New Moon

So tender the moment of Maiden's kiss
As dreams, refreshed, begin to softly glow,
There's work to be done making spirits grow,
In this, Her lunar enchanted abyss.
And incense burns to purify the space;
For candle's flame now brings Her passion here,
As water meets Earth the way is clear,
And tender love so gently fills this place.
Sweet scent of lilies bring romance and love
To ease away the pain we feel though life,
As blesséd wine unites with sacred knife,
The moon reveals the Maiden smiles above.
And I enchanted by Her witchery
Relive the dream; the first time She kissed me.
