Sonnet of Saturn

There is a lovely fellow; a joyous sight to see. A personality that’s quite mellow; he swims space easily. He travels many light years; dancing in and out through time. His song in my ears brings the tears; Sometimes for him, I pine. In my glass eye, I watch him; jogging throughout in space. His varied hula-hooping rims; his rotund belly grace. Looking like a toy, in that distant place; he’s quite a dapper fellow, with a precious face.

Saturn has never seemed so dapper.

Once you see him through a telescope, he's very amazing.

M.L. -- I enjoyed this one. My favorite planet, too. If you have a telescope, even a small one, be sure to tune in around Dec 21 later this year. Saturn will be in the same field of view with Jupiter. I plan to take pics, weather permitting.

Thanks so much, I love watching it, it's like a little wind-up toy. Glad you enjoyed it.

Sparkling Saturnalian sonnet. Just great! The light touch is the right touch! Cheers, Gershon
