Sonnet No 13

Oh moon! My dearest friend! At least you're still awake,
When all the other friends are allready asleep.
Oh drink with me next to the bay of this dark lake
And make me smile, for every star now make me weep.

Oh moon! My dearest friend! Just one more glass with me
And can you stop enlightening this black blue lakes?!
Oh moon! My dearest friend! Enlight my heart to glee
With looks you shoot at me as fire's thrown by drakes.

Oh moon! My dearest friend! You leave when mornings shine,
I know that well. You know it too. Yet please do stay
And be a friend to me upon this black blue bay.
So have a glass with me of this malisciously sharp wine.

Oh moon, my friend, am I alone upon this lake?
Are you at all a friend to me or is this fake?

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed New Year.
