Sonnet Me a Winter Day
Release the beauty of a winter morning
and soar me to the crystal lakes of awe
its where the snow slow shines to bring
the memory of a soaring raven's caw
glide me to the sunny rays of mountain tops
where all stands still in silent whitely snow
loose me ever slow & share the afterglow
of a shimmering hill's snowdrop
songs of unicorns symphonically surround
the eyes of those who look and truly see
it is a place where poets find their ground
writing sonnets of loveliness and beauty
Release me to the moment of a winter day
where all the seagulls fly, above the bay …
