Sonnet For the Sun
Burning light of day;
Cast your love across our earth.
In your love-light, we all play;
Anew, we rebirth.
Raining rays; you deliver;
They nourish and assist.
Your love, it never waivers;
A radiating bliss.
Cover us in sunny joy;
Bake our gardens, not.
Though earth, to you, may look a toy;
It’s the only home we’ve got.
Drench all in your gift, so warm.
Brother Sun, please grace our farms.
