Sonnet 3 Fire of the Soul
Internal burning for the eternal light
Within me, you have burned forever
What color can you show before me in sight
No one can reach inside to destroy you with a lever
I am you, and you are I
A belief that beyond fiction
In a way, this is how we have gotten by
Oh my, your warmth has become my addiction
Everyone wants to take you away from me
They can try but can never win because you are mine
Their eyes have blinded them, so they cannot see
Always and forever, you are the fire of my soul and are fine.
You are the fire of my soul
No one can take you on a roll
