Songs of Sorrow

Oluchi Ibe has done me thus: She has put a knife through my heart And fed my love to the swine The flames of my love, she doused My soul embellished with sorrow She has led me deep into the wild of gloom Beyond the silent river of bliss She never minded exactly if my heart was breaking Lost and lonely She droned me in a brook of my own tears Sadness is the crown of my eyes Grief from jilt; my soul is bleeding Oluchi! What you have done; Is like a huge ulcer in my heart No matter how hard I try I can never be made whole again The scary memory of this sacrilege
