Songs of Heart

From the distant shores I watch
I see a glimmer there
And from the ocean's mighty mist
I taste the sweetest air
Upon the brink of journey's start
I close my heavy eyes
Unto the ears awakes a life
That yet awaits the skies
A kiss to greet the weary soul
For you I've given all
Upon the bough of my heart
I hold the lover's call
Shall I find you come the dawn?
As in the dreams of old?
How this hand awaits your own
Mine shall ever hold

Come breath of sea upon the souls
Sing the songs of heart
Raise the sail that longs to fly
Let us greet the start
