Songbird's Gift

prismatic plume unfurled
melodic harmonies
carried aloft on shining wind

Written for Rick Parise's 'One Haiku' contest, incorporating the phrase "shining wind" and inspired by the following verse:

In moments of glory
Through heights unrestrained
To flutter in beauty
In facets ingrained
Oh song bird of reason
Oh song bird of love
Climb your peaceful stairway
To heaven above

Hello John. I agree with Paul Callus of impressing imagery. I will further say impressive execution on the 668. I see perfection on all counts. Good luck with the contest. May the gift of the songbird always be there to see and hear.
