prismatic plume unfurled melodic harmonies carried aloft on shining wind - - - - - - - - - 6-6-8 (www.howmanysyllables.com) (as requested: *not* 5-7-5) 22/04/17 Written for Rick Parise's 'One Haiku' contest, incorporating the phrase "shining wind" and inspired by the following verse: In moments of glory Through heights unrestrained To flutter in beauty In facets ingrained Oh song bird of reason Oh song bird of love Climb your peaceful stairway To heaven above
