Songbird

The beautiful songbird's
Majestic music

Soothes the troubled soul

A pleasant interlude
That enhances the mood

On this early winter's stroll

How fortunate is she
Providing perfect pitch is her goal

Lifting up the broken restoring hope and for a minute making them whole
May all songbirds in Heaven

Have a place with which to go

Which lifts them up brings them joy and has a stage set

For their show
