Song of the Night

Garden flowers sleep Silhouettes of sunflowers Nodding in slumber Whispers in the wind Memories of joy echo Golden moonbeam path A cricket awakes Chirping ancient melodies The song of the night

I enjoyed reading these haiku. I think they are called something else when there is more than one but I can't remember what it is right at the moment. Sara

Thank you for your visits Sara, I love to hear from you. Yes, I know you are right. I tried to find out what kind of poem it would be, and looked on line. I didn't actually find an answer, and called it a haiku. I don't know what else to call it :/ Thank you for stopping by, and noticing my dilemma here. I wish I had a lot more time to put into my poetry, the types and all. I share the computer with so many, I don't often have a chance to put in the time to figure it all out. Praying you are doing well. God bless you <3 You encourage me.
