Song of the Mockingbird

This is the song Of the Mockingbird With repeat rhymes And borrowed words Of all he's seen And all he's heard On his daily flight From yonder wood To mountain stream Through rolling meadows Shades of green All that he has In-between That his ears can find To use it time And time again As ruffled feathers Gather wind Spreading wing At the slightest hint Mixing it all in rhyme

Good one, Mike. I love well written poems about birds. The mockingbird is also a thief and can be very mean at times.
