Song of the Heartstrings

You know I love you.
You know I care.
It’s just those feelings,
That I don’t show, that I don’t share.

I want to tell you everything on my mind...
But I fear you wouldn’t bother to find the time...
My heartstrings are being tugged...
All I want is to be hugged...

Every time I hear the sound of your voice,
I have no choice...
I fall into your arms,
and as you hum the sweetest tone
my heart pounds with loud alarms.

My heart strings are being strummed....
By the graceful tone,
that has no drone.

My heart is being played,
I’m coming out of the shade...
My strings are being pulled...
Please don’t let me be fooled!

When you say my name,
I just don’t feel the same...
I have no shame,
because I know that these feelings are not lame..

You’ll be my baby, and I’ll be your boo.
Because I know the feelings that I have are so true..
Go ahead and play the strings of my heart,
because I know that we will never be apart.
