I've honestly never heard of the Atropa belladonna and certainly wasn't aware of its medicinal value. I enjoyed the read. Thanks for sharing, Sara

OMSara, it's a special herbal tea served to the guest of the Medici Family back in the 15th century, while they themselves drank good ole American Lipton. The 'Belladonna', rightly titled by Italia, from neighboring Greece 'Atropa', the Family found the poison valuable, while the Catholic church found its medicinal properties more valuable after wiping out the Incan Empire.
