Song of Praise

Like Miriam in the wilderness I will raise my tambourine high To praise this king Who brought me from my Egypt Into the Promised Land You have carried me through The desert The barren wasteland That was my life of sin I will shout in your arms As John shouted even In his mother's womb Hold me strong As you have done Throughout each twilight hour Of this journey I have walked I will thrive in your grace As Daniel  and Job did When staring even into The eyes of death God you are my refuge God you are my life You have rescued me From the chains Of sin and bitterness I am still weak But you saved me From eternal darkness and now I know no matter what I do I can cry out to you And you will come to rescue I will pray and repent and praise Like David in the courtyard Like Paul and Silas in the prison Like Miriam in the wilderness Forever and always Thank you for another year of Life
