Song of Forgiveness
SONG OF FORGIVENESS
Warmth and beauty under blue sky,
but heavy clouds within burst and cry.
From a thunderous mind, that let unwind,
causing a heart, to tear apart.
A PLEA TO FORGIVE,
FOR THIS SOUL TO LIVE,
ONLY FORGIVENESS WILL SAVE TOMORROW,
WITH THIS HEART AND SOUL IN SORROW.
Caused a love to burn,
and a soft soul to turn,
now spiritually beginning to churn,
with a stain from an unforgiving pain.
A PLEA TO FORGIVE,
FOR THIS SOUL TO LIVE,
ONLY FORGIVENESS WILL SAVE TOMORROW,
WITH THIS HEART AND SOUL IN SORROW.
That raging mind that makes one blind,
a shredded page scattered on our living stage.
Words of fire, that fought,
then the ashes of regretful thought.
A PLEA TO FORGIVE,
FOR THIS SOUL TO LIVE,
ONLY FORGIVENESS WILL SAVE TOMORROW,
WITH THIS HEART AND SOUL IN SORROW.
Please, please on these begging knees,
and see the pain, from these bleeding eyes,
and a heart beating, sobbing sighs,
Don't turn away, from a memory this way
A PLEA TO FORGIVE,
FOR THIS SOUL TO LIVE,
ONLY FORGIVENESS WILL SAVE TOMORROW,
WITH THIS HEART AND SOUL IN SORROW
