Song of Autumn
Autumn sings a song of falling colored leaves,
Cooler days and birds flying south.
Long walks to the park,
The geese and ducks are flying south.
Kites flying in the sky on a windy day,
Parents and children dressed for the autumn weather.
Autumn comes each year,
The snowy winter can wait.
Stories have been written about autumn,
Songs and poems are written.
The leaves scattered on the walking path and lawn,
Creating a carpet of delight where you have to be careful of walking.
The leaves you rake in a pile,
The children enjoy jumping in the leaves.
The houses decorated for Thanksgiving,
The pumpkins and piles of hay on the lawn.
