Song of a Poetess

In a California suburb she sits, Pondering to go on with her writs! All seem pointless to her now. Even though~to her family she made a vow! To leave them a heritage of her life. The happiness, sorrow, pain and strife. Perhaps major surgery in November, Made this vow, to her poetry vow not remember? She sighs, softly in the Spring starlight. Recalling her early days here, so bright! When she penned with happiness! Greeted by others, cheering her success. The road to being a good poet seems so long. And poetry seems life’s forever Spring song! It is an adventure, like doing a figure-eight! On this mellow, starlit night, it is her fate! The clock moved the velvet of her heart. Its hands opening her rainbowed, glowing parts! 4-12-2022

Love this song of a poetess Pangie and alike what’s already been said I really think the ending couplet is awesome. Keep writing your family legacy, your poems mean a lot to you and they also will to those they come to… Belle

Hi Belle, I appreciate the heads up attitude, you have. The ending couplet, golly, is quite outstanding! Not being pompous at all, just wish such magic would occur more often.)) My cousin wrote here. She died in December. My poetry with dedications to her, will be given to Attendees at the Celebration of her life! I am so glad to honor her. I will keep writing for my family and friends. I realize one day, I won’t be here, and so, the time to write is NOW! I deeply, thank you....Pangie xo 4/19/

We are happiest when we write. The world is better served and uplifted when we write. The way I see it, a win win. "The clock moved the velvet of her heart. Its hands opening her rainbowed, glowing parts!" Superb writing!

Arg 4/26 sorry Joe. Another reply that went missing? Anyhow, don’t know how this happens. I hope poets tell the truth. Whether happy or sad. Poets lose people, health, money..I don’t expect hats and horns. The truth, is the truth, so either way, I like poetry. Hamlet is no haha-ha play. But it makes us think. I don’t expect life to be a bed of Roses..and I tell it like I see it. So do you. Thank you for your friendship. Sorry for the missing reply, Yours, Pamgie

Panagiota, Sweetest song of a poetess. A promise is a promise. You keep your vows to family in uplifted voice and busy pen. Let all else happen come rain or shine. -Richard
