Song Mother I Know

When I was just a boy
I could have never understood 
You showed me right from wrong 
You made me strong

You gave so much I know,  and no
I didn't see 
But now I know just what you've done for me 

Chorus
So how can I repay this debt you gave to me
Because I realize just what you mean to me. 

You held me in the night 
Guided me in flight
Prayed for what was right 
With all your might

You sacrificed your life
Took care to cover strife 
On a day I would lose sight
You always made it right

Chorus

When I was just a boy 
I could have never understood 
The love you showed to me
Was meant to set me free

You gave me all you can 
As I grew into a man 
Now I know your gentle loving hand.
