Son of the Amphritite

The ocean is calm tonight, its waves gently reaching old friends on the shore. The sky fades, vanishing into the night. The tides move in harmony, watching the distant moon above. The ocean of faith, longing for its presence, cries for release. He pleads infront of the sea to take him in, but the giver of life responds with a melody. The tides rise, reaching out to him, offering solace to his weary soul. Desperate, he breaks down and weeps, whispering, “Embrace me in your warm arms; I surrender to you.” And so, the waves take him gently, saying nothing—because they know. He is returning home, back to where he belongs.
