Son of Man

It must have been a wonderful thing
The sight the Shepherds must have seen,
When they beheld the New Born King

While following the East Star Gleam
To three Kings it was foretold,
Traveled across the desert scene

With incense, myrrh and Gold
They knelt before the Son of Man,
With gifts that they did hold

Knowing he was the King of the Land

It must have been indeed, although I believe their hearts had fear after their visit to the king before they found new born King, for they know of his true purposes. Had they not had fear, perhaps they would have stayed and educate the Son of God while growing up. Something to think about. I do a lot of that. Loved this poem, very well written. Thanks for sharing and thanks for your comments on mine. Taz? After the cartoon character? Caroline.
