Lok at me, and look at me again, do look again, now look deep within I smile through tears, I bear all your pain! trust in me and let me wash your sins, cross I carry is of your burden blood you see is your blood through my skin! path I walk on are hardship laden, the lashes that cut me hate smitten, I take pain so your visions widen! from the day the apple was bitten, evil has coursed through all of your lives, I come to redeem thee, it’s written! lashes bite like million bees from hives, they may crucify me high with nails, trust in god for he takes what he gives! be amongst you ever in spirit, look at me, and look at me again, reborn, see me in each child there is, I smile through tears, I bear all your pain!
