Son

Your words fly Like heavy rocks And fall blindfold. Your young intransigence Is like a gale Strong and without mercy. Your absent glance Pierces my heart And stands by my mind. But your smile Redefines yourself Your gentleness is real. Your fight is pure Against me, against you Looking for answers. Impatient you want to understand Unmistakable you want to run Keeping your hope as my hope.
