Somewhere Over the Rainbow
The clouds gathered in the darkest part
Of my eyes, bursting forth
When you emerged after the rain
Somewhere over the rainbow, you gave
Meaning to all that I held within
All your colours pouring in
The very shape of you mimiced my eye
Forming an image from my blues
Making me believe, when I held on to you
You made sense of life in so many hues
When me and the sun broke out in smiles
Life in different colours magnified
All things at once, intensified and simplified!
