SOMEWHERE


by~ JOHN LOVING III

somewhere out there in the sky's
God is wearing His great disguise
He's so cleverly hidden
no one can see Him with there eyes
 
somewhere in there, in my mind
God is hiding, looking and finding
like the thief that comes in the night
taking from you what's wrong and right

Somewhere I silently hear my name.
God whispers words as if this was a ballgame.
"Come to me!" 
He aims secretly, this man I can't see.

Somewhere along my path I admit, 
God is waiting for me to surrender
Like lightning and thunder in broad daylight,
he will always strike, shine and takeover~ like my white knight

The only reason I couldn't help finish this was due to my heart's convictions....I have been walking with the Lord many years..most of the time more of a stumble... Poet Destroyer A September 6, 2011 at 12:07 AM OH MY!! This wonderful piece actually took me over 30 minutes to reply, and that's not counting the day I received it through my e-mail. I think I had to close my eyes and feel something so strange or should i call it airborne. No offense Christians. ( it;s a compliment) God's a tough subject 4 ME* 2 understand. YES I believe in him, we just don't meet eye to eye. j.k;-) I think that is Y JOHN, send me this one. He probably knows or feels, I wonder 2 much about GOD and his WHY"S...
