Somewhere In the Rough

The father said,"Son,I'll tell you some things
That your Ma just can't tell you like I can.
I see you smilin' at how that bird sings -
I can tell you're about to be a man"

"You're wonderin' just what you need to know
About girls, love, and what leads to romance.
Well, son, you can stop your worryin' so -
All you need to know is just how to dance."

"For men are born stupid about some stuff,
And girls are born knowin' the things we don't.
So you will live life somewhere in the rough
While all women just naturally won't."

"But the good news is that they will teach us
All the things we need to know in advance.
So just don't worry and make a big fuss -
But,Son, don't make her teach you how to dance."
