Somewhere In the Middle East

Young men,
Women and children,
Fleeting their land,
A war destroying their country,
An enemy they can’t seem to understand,
“we are freeing you from your leader’s tyranny,
slaughtering you all is a war causality...”
On embers and ashes
an empire of democracy shall be built,
Oh... The irony.

I can only imagine the pain that those people go through. It hurts me just to think about it.
