Somewhere In Summer

Red buds etched the flames of summer, in between hours
igniting sighs to heat a coastline there, in between hours

and the fragrance of moonlight filled a stir, in between hours
wind chimes sailing away, light as myrrh, in between hours;

while dusk trailed unto air's soft corner, in between hours
our hearts pulsing of a blazed affair,in between hours.

Sand glimmered for night's beachcomber, in between hours
gliding on waves of warmth's late slumber in between hours,

till our mouths lifted glazed song's whisper… in between hours
when August thrilled first embrace ,somewhere, in between hours.
