Somewhere High

Somewhere high among the moon and stars
   On wings that tremble not
Silent wish doth rush by
Amid the blackness of the night

Above your sleeping head

Might I add to this beauty using your last line as a beginning: Above your sleeping head, a twinkle appears in the depth of night, as this wish doth find its perch, a new star has found its birth. I've enjoyed this poem and the inspriation that was born from it.

Nearly all my poems were written during the fall of '81 on nights when I worked late alone. It was a time in my life. Some of them are basically unfinished so as to instill a thought for those who read them. Kind of like "here, you finish it". :)
